An ongoing match at the Niaz Stadium being played in Hyderabad earlier today, was stopped as the stadium was transformed into a helipad ahead of Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah’s arrival.

A match organised by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) between Hyderabad and Quetta was stopped by officials when news came that CM Sindh would be arriving at the stadium. Players were made to get off the field as the stadium was transformed into a helipad.

According to members of the chief minister’s team, the stadium was used as a helipad for security reasons.

Upon his arrival CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah said he had come to the stadium to meet the players and that match should continue.
