Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has temporarily halted its flights to Turkey, citing low passenger numbers during the off-peak season. The suspension will last until October 13.
A PIA spokesperson explained that the decision stemmed from insufficient travellers for onward journeys to Turkey. “Due to the absence of inventory from Turkey, we have paused the flights until October 13,” he stated.
He further assured that the suspension was solely due to passenger volume and not other factors. A high-ranking PIA delegation recently visited Turkey and successfully renewed the code-sharing agreement with Turkish Airlines.
