The Federal Government has appointed Pervez Rathore as the acting Chairman of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA Pervez Rathore will perform the duties as the acting Chairman of PEMRA, till such time as a full-time Chairman is appointed.
Rathore was appointed as member PEMRA, while he has also been a part of the three-member committee, which could exercise the powers of Chairman PEMRA.
He is an ex-official of the police service group.
