Pervez Khattak, Adviser to the Prime Minister and former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was involved in a road accident on the motorway late last night. He remained safe and suffered only minor injuries.
According to his son, Ishaq Khattak, the incident occurred while Pervez Khattak was travelling from Nowshera to Islamabad.

Medical teams provided first aid to Pervez Khattak shortly after the accident. Authorities confirmed that they have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
