Pervez Khattak, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTI-P) president and a former ally of Imran Khan, has been defeated in the race for Nowshera’s NA-33 seat.
Unofficial results from all polling stations indicate that PTI-supported independent candidate Shahid Ahad Khattak secured the NA-33 seat with 90,145 votes. In contrast, Pervez Khattak garnered only 25,258 votes, marking a substantial difference in support.
Notably, after his departure from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) due to disagreements with the party’s leadership, Pervez Khattak established the PTI Parliamentarians as a separate political entity.
