Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique claimed the people of Lahore prevailed by showing restraint and patience and defeated PTI chief Imran Khan’s “Tsunami”.
Addressing a joint press conference with Punjab government spokesman Zaeem Qadri and Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique here at PR headquarters, he said four people fell victim to the “Tsunami”.
He condemned torturing of senior media persons, including a lady reporter, by activists of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).
The real face of PTI had been exposed on the roads of provincial capital, he added.
He alleged that the PTI workers did not allow even ambulances to shift patients to hospitals, tortured old people and burnt trees.
He said the Constitution provided the right of free movement to people, who were deprived of the same by the PTI activists. “Who has given them right to restrict citizens’ movement?” he asked.
The minister alleged that Imran Khan had been teaching his workers a lesson to insult and abuse others and that was what being seen today on Lahore’s roads; even their own female workers were not being spared, he added.
