The Pakistan Cricket Board has shared a proposed schedule for the Australia men’s team’s upcoming T20I tour, sources confirmed on Wednesday. Both sides aim to fine-tune preparations for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
According to sources, the PCB has forwarded two draft itineraries to Cricket Australia for a three-match T20I series. The proposals suggest Australia could arrive in Pakistan on January 26 or 27, with departure planned for February 2 or 3.
The proposed structure includes two consecutive matches, followed by a one-day break before the final T20I. Two of the three fixtures are expected to take place over the weekend. Tentative dates include January 29 and 31, with the concluding match scheduled for February 1.

Pakistan and Australia have faced each other 28 times in T20 internationals. Australia has won 14 matches, while Pakistan has won 12. One match ended in a tie, and another resulted in no winner.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s men’s team is currently touring Sri Lanka for their first international assignment of the year. They are contesting a three-match T20I series against the hosts at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.
The series begins today, with the remaining matches scheduled for January 9 and 11. This tour also serves as vital preparation for the T20 World Cup, which will be held from February 7 to March 8 across India and Sri Lanka.
