The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the match officials for the upcoming Pakistan vs. South Africa white-ball and Test series. It is scheduled to run from October 12 to November 8, 2025. This includes two Tests, three T20Is, and three ODIs, part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27. Consequently, top umpires and referees ensure fair play across venues.
The first Test, set for October 12-16 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, features ICC Elite Panel umpire Rodney Tucker (Australia) and ICC Emerging Umpire Christopher Brown (New Zealand) on-field. Bangladesh’s Saikat Sharfuddoula serves as the third umpire. Pakistan’s Faisal Khan Afridi acts as the fourth. Ranjan Madugalle (Sri Lanka) officiates as match referee.
For the second Test in Rawalpindi from October 20-24, Christopher Brown and Saikat Sharfuddoula handle on-field duties. Rodney Tucker takes the third umpire, and Rashid Riaz (ICC International Panel) is the fourth. Madugalle continues as referee.
T20I and ODI Officials
The T20I series begins on October 28 in Rawalpindi. Muhammad Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Riaz umpire on-field, with Faisal Khan Afridi as third and Tariq Rasheed as fourth. The same team oversees the second T20I on October 31 in Lahore. For the third T20I on November 1, Rashid Riaz and Faisal Khan Afridi will umpire on-field. Asif Yaqoob acts as the third, and Tariq Rasheed acts as the fourth.

The ODIs, hosted at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium, start on November 4. Saikat Sharfuddoula and Asif Yaqoob umpire the first ODI, with Alex Wharf (England, ICC Elite Panel) as third and Rashid Riaz as fourth. The second ODI sees Alex Wharf and Ahsan Raza (ICC Elite Panel) on-field, with Saikat Sharfuddoula and Rashid Riaz as third and fourth. For the final ODI, Saikat Sharfuddoula and Faisal Khan Afridi umpire on the field. Alex Wharf acts as the third, and Rashid Riaz as the fourth.
