PAT, PTI on same team for “Azadi March”

Pakistan Awami Tehreek  and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf  are expected to embark on a protest against the incumbent government of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) from a combined platform.

The sources said the two parties have persistently liaised during last some days over the modus operandi to unseat the PML-N as a result of anti-government movement (Azadi-March) starting from August 14. The joint march would be announced in the next couple of days.

PTI chairman announced that his party would  contact all political parties over the government decision to call Pakistan Army in the federal capital for three months, by invoking Article-245 of the Constitution.

PTI emerged as the third largest political party in May 11 general elections, has demanded the government for vote recount in four constituencies.

Having returned from Canada, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri raised the slogan of “Green Revolution” by announcing to make efforts  ‘ of throwing away the corrupt system in the sea’
