The Parliament on Friday resumed debate on the prevailing political crisis in the joint session where lawmakers from both treasury and opposition benches addressed the house.
The legislators are addressing the house over the situation arising out of protest march and sit-in of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his cabinet members are attending the session.
In previous sessions, the parliamentarians have expressed their resolve to stand by the government, pledging to uphold democracy and the constitution.
