The Paris Olympics 2024 officially will begin on Friday, July 26, with the opening ceremony. However, India’s events start a day earlier, on July 25, with archery. Over 10,000 athletes from 206 National Olympic Committees will participate.
Pakistan’s 18-member contingent to Paris for the Games, comprising seven athletes and 11 officials. Javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem and swimmer Jahanara Nabi (200m Freestyle) will be the flagbearers for the opening ceremony.
The other participants include shooters Kishmala Talat (10m Air Pistol, 25m Pistol, 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team), Ghulam Mustafa Bashir (25m Rapid Fire Pistol), Gulfam Joseph (10m Air Pistol, 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team), athlete Faiqa Riaz (100m race), and swimmer Mohammad Ahmed Durrani (200m Freestyle).
