Pakistan’s Got Talent auditions have officially opened, marking the arrival of one of the world’s most recognised reality show formats in the country.
Pixel Entertainment announced the launch through an Instagram post, inviting performers from across Pakistan to apply. Applicants must complete an online form, submit details of their act and upload two videos — one showcasing their performance and another introducing themselves.
The move follows an earlier agreement between Pixel Entertainment and global media company Fremantle to bring the internationally successful franchise to Pakistan.
Pakistan’s Got Talent Auditions: How to Apply
The application form lists multiple performance categories. These include singing, dance, comedy, magic, martial arts, acrobatics, music, stunts and more.
There is also an “Other” option for talents that do not fall within the listed categories. Applicants may select more than one category if necessary.
Acts involving animals require proof that the animals are fully vaccinated and healthy. Performers must provide their own equipment; pyrotechnics and explosives are strictly prohibited.
The franchise, created by Simon Cowell and owned by Fremantle, has aired in more than 70 countries and is recognised as one of the most successful reality TV formats worldwide.
Reality Shows Gaining Momentum in Pakistan
Pakistan’s Got Talent is one of two reality projects currently in development at Pixel Entertainment. The company previously opened auditions for Rap Icon Pakistan, with Talha Anjum and Bohemia confirmed as judges. The show is expected to air around Eid al-Fitr.
Pixel Entertainment also revived Masterchef Pakistan for its second season after an 11-year break. The season concluded with a grand finale earlier this year. Additionally, the company played a role in bringing Shark Tank to Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Idol has also returned under a separate production house and is currently airing across multiple platforms.
With several international franchises launching or returning, reality television appears to be entering a new growth phase in Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
