Pakistani mountaineer Hassan Sadpara, 53, passed away this morning at CHM Rawalpindi.
He was suffering from multiple blood cancer and was brought to a private hospital in Rawalpindi, from where he was moved to the Combined Military Hospital for treatment on the directives of the prime minister

On on Nov 8 the government to shift him to the Aga Khan Hospital Karachi for better treatment.
On November 20, he son was provided Rs2.5 million by the provincial government of Punjab for the treatment of Sadpara.
Hassan Ali Sadpara hails from a small village of Sadpara, some seven kilometres from Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan. He is the first Pakistani mountaineer to have climbed six high mountains, including the world’s highest peak Everest (8848m), K2 (8611m), Gasherbrum I (8080m), Gasherbrum II(8034m), Nanga Parbat (8126 m) and Broad Peak (8051m).
