The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistani armed forces neutralized three terrorists during a confrontation in the Miran Shah vicinity of North Waziristan district. Four additional terrorists sustained injuries during the exchange on the night of June 9th and 10th.
ISPR, Pakistan’s military media wing, reported that the Pak army’s soldiers battled valiantly; however, three servicemen were martyred during the fierce gunfire exchange.
“Our troops effectively responded to the terrorist assault. Consequently, three terrorists were neutralized, and four were injured. Arms and ammunition were recovered from the deceased terrorists,” read the ISPR statement.
The martyred soldiers were identified as Subedar Asghar Ali (age 40 years, resident of Lakki Marwat District), Sepoy Naseem Khan (age 26 years, resident of Lakki Marwat District) & Sepoy Muhammad Zaman (age 22 years, resident of Abbottabad) fought gallantly, embraced shahadat.
Furthermore, the ISPR disclosed that a comprehensive sanitization operation is underway to root out any remaining terrorists in the vicinity.
“Pakistan’s armed forces are committed to eradicating the threat of terrorism, and the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers fortify our determination,” the ISPR further underscored.
