Pakistan’s business magnate, Huma Fakhar, has been nominated for the esteemed Global Woman Inspiration Award in the United Kingdom.
The prestigious recognition comes on the heels of her significant contributions to the Pakistani business scene and her commendable efforts in the social sector.
The Global Woman Club unveiled the list of nominees on Saturday, with the award ceremony scheduled for July 17 in London.
The club focuses on acknowledging women who are making extraordinary strides in various sectors across the globe. Among the impressive lineup of 12 nominated women, Huma Fakhar represents Pakistan.
Fakhar’s Business and Social Impact
Fakhar expressed immense pride over her nomination, stating, “Deepak Chopra and Madame Mir Elle will present the awards. I am deeply honored to be nominated for the Global Woman Inspiration Award in the UK. The nomination acknowledges my work in Pakistan as a businessperson and a social sector supporter.”

Notable Contributions of Huma Fakhar
Fakhar’s notable works include co-authoring the vision for Pakistan’s White Revolution Dairy Investments, known as ‘Doodh Darya.’ This initiative paved the way for establishing corporate dairy farms in Pakistan, empowering over 500,000 women in the dairy sector.
Besides, Fakhar has actively nurtured entrepreneurship at the school level, particularly among girls in orphanages across Pakistan, enabling them to sustain themselves.
Representing Pakistan, Fakhar is a member of various Business Forums, including India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Malaysia Pakistan. She has partaken in Trade Ministerial held in several locations, such as Doha, Hong Kong, Mexico, and the White House in the United States.
Fakhar’s recent launch of the ‘Green Footprints’ circularity fund has also received significant acclaim.
