Pakistan started poorly after Saim Ayub fell to Taskin Ahmed for just 6 runs. Mohammad Haris joined Fakhar Zaman but departed for 4, caught off Mahedi Hasan, leaving the score at 32/2 in three overs.
Captain Salman Agha scored 3 before Tanzim Hasan Shakib dismissed him. Mohammad Nawaz managed a duck, removed by Mustafizur Rahman, reducing Pakistan to 46/5 in 7.4 overs after another run-out.
Fakhar Zaman anchored the innings with 44 but was run out in the 12th over. Khushdil Shah and Abbas Afridi built a 33-run partnership, pushing the score to 103/7 in 16.2 overs before Shah fell for 17 to Mustafizur Rahman.
Taskin Ahmed claimed Faheem Ashraf for 5, Salman Mirza was run out for a duck, and Abbas Afridi (22) was the last to fall, ending the innings at 110.
