Pakistan Railways has announced the resumption of train services in Balochistan and to other provinces after a one-day suspension due to security concerns.

Railway officials confirmed that operations for the Jaffar Express, Bolan Mail, and Chaman Passenger have returned to normal. The Chaman Passenger departed Quetta for Chaman on schedule, while the Jaffar Express departed Quetta for Peshawar on schedule. The Bolan Mail is set to depart from Quetta on December 28.

Authorities said the suspension lasted only one day and was introduced as a precautionary measure. Train services from Balochistan to other parts of Pakistan were suspended on Thursday due to security concerns.

The Jaffar Express, which runs from Quetta to Peshawar, and the Bolan Mail, operating between Quetta and Karachi, were among the services cancelled during the brief shutdown.

Pakistan Railways officials have reassured passengers that services are now operating as scheduled and that safety remains a top priority.
