Doctors have mandated a four-week cast for the fracture and have advised President Zardari to rest completely to facilitate a swift recovery. Following the initial treatment and a thorough hospital evaluation, he was allowed to return home. Medical staff have strongly recommended that he remain at rest to expedite the healing process and avoid complications.

Following the fall, he was immediately taken to a hospital for treatment. After a check up, the doctor placed his leg in a cast.
