Amidst the ongoing turmoil in Gaza due to continuous Israeli offensives, Pakistan’s top military commanders have intensified their stance in backing the Gazan people’s struggle.

The sentiment of unwavering support was a focal point during the 260th Corps Commanders’ Conference in Rawalpindi. This critical meeting, led by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, was marked by pronounced solidarity commitments, echoing robust support for the Palestinian cause.

The military chiefs expressed deep dismay over the tragic escalations in the Gaza Strip, highlighting the grievous civilian casualties caused by disproportionate aggression from Israeli forces.

The situation intensified after a bold infiltration by Hamas into Israel, leading to significant loss of life and a ferocious response that has seen thousands in Gaza, predominantly non-combatants, lose their lives. Amidst this chaos, Gaza’s resources are dwindling, with crucial supplies and utilities reaching alarmingly low levels, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.

In a heartfelt gesture acknowledging the immense suffering, the Pakistani government has initiated steps to provide much-needed humanitarian relief to the beleaguered Gazan population, emphasizing Pakistan’s unwavering diplomatic and moral support for the Palestinian cause.

Crackdown on Illegal Immigrants Amid Security Concerns

Another critical point of discussion was the nation’s internal security, focusing on repatriating illegal immigrants. This decision, set for execution starting November 1, has been linked to a spate of terror incidents, underscoring the need to bolster national security measures. The army chief ordered comprehensive measures to ensure a dignified and secure process as the crackdown commences.

In the same vein, there was a unanimous agreement to intensify actions against illegal economic activities, hoarding, and smuggling operations undermining the nation’s economic stability. These decisive steps aim to purge the country of nefarious elements that cripple economic progress.

The conference took a sad turn as attendees paid homage to the lives lost in recent terror attacks, reaffirming their steadfast resolve to combat terrorism in all its manifestations. The leadership lauded the unwavering courage of security personnel in safeguarding the nation’s integrity and pledged unremitting efforts to neutralize threats aimed at destabilizing Pakistan.

Furthermore, the meeting encompassed detailed discussions on the prevailing geo-strategic dynamics and national security challenges, reinforcing the military’s commitment to staunchly defend Pakistan’s sovereignty.

COAS urged an ethos of professionalism and excellence, assuring the army’s complete backing of governmental strategies aimed at economic rejuvenation for the nation’s prosperity.
