Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan addressed these claims during a recent briefing. Khan clarified that Pakistani passports explicitly state that they are not valid for travel to Israel. Thus, under current regulations, no such visit could officially occur. He reiterated that Pakistan’s position regarding Israel remains unchanged, with the country not recognizing Israel as a state.
The spokesperson also reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong support for the Palestinian cause. He highlighted Pakistan’s endorsement of the rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to an independent and sovereign state within the pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif designated as the capital.
