For Pakistan and India’s Independence Day celebrations, online food delivery marketplace Foodpanda has launched a video that captures the universal love for food in both countries.
“It plays on the universal love for food that transcends boundaries and acts as a common thread between Indians and Pakistanis. With a lilting background track, the video captures how delicacies from Indian cities are well-loved in Pakistan and vice versa,” read a statement.
“Iss Swatantrata Diwas, Bhed Bhao Mitao… Bas Khaatey Jao, Khilatey Jao” (This Independence Day, forget the differences and instead eat and feed) is the message that the video spreads.
Available on YouTube, the video showcases how the tastes, desires, and preferences of citizens in India and Pakistan are alike.
