Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif has informed the govt. that during his visit to Kabul, he asked Afghan authorities to make efforts to prevent cross-border firing by Afghan security forces, or else Pakistan reserves the right to return any such attempt.

While briefing the attendees of a high level meeting presided by the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, on his recent visit to Kabul, General Raheel Sharif told them that he took up this issue with Afghan and AISAF commanders and made it clear that Pakistan will make no compromise on its security.

The meeting reviewed security arrangements to cope with any foreign aggression and declared these arrangements as satisfactory.
