Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced that Turkish citizens can obtain free online visas to visit Pakistan starting August 14.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently met with Turkish Ambassador Dr. Mehmet Pacaci at the Ministry of Interior, where they discussed enhancing Pakistan-Turkey bilateral relations and other mutual interests.
During this meeting, the parties agreed to boost cooperation in security, policing, and civil armed forces. They decided to send Pakistani police officers to Turkey for training as part of an exchange program.
Minister Naqvi also announced that starting August 14, Turkish citizens could obtain free online visas, simplifying their travel to Pakistan. He expressed plans to visit Turkey in October at the Turkish government’s invitation to discuss further bilateral initiatives.
Highlighting the deep-rooted ties between the two nations, Naqvi remarked, “Pakistanis consider Turkey as their second home. Both countries share long-standing religious, cultural, and trade relations, and we aim to strengthen these further.”
The meeting also covered the issue of Pakistani prisoners in Turkey, with both sides agreeing to finalize an agreement for their release soon.
Ambassador Pacaci emphasized Turkey’s valuation of its brotherly relations with Pakistan and confirmed ongoing cooperation across various sectors. Federal Secretary Interior Khurram Ali Agha and Additional Secretary Interior Riffat Mukhtar Raja were also present.
