In a recent statement from the Cabinet Division, the government has given the green light for a three-day public holiday in observance of Eid ul Adha, scheduled for June 29th. The approved holidays will be as follows:
- Offices following a five-day work week will be closed on June 29th and 30th (Thursday and Friday)
- Those operating on a six-day work week will have their holidays from June 29th to July 1st (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).
This approval comes on the heels of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee’s announcement of the Zil Hajj moon sighting in Pakistan, indicating that Eid ul Adha will be celebrated nationwide on June 29th (Thursday).
