The captain of Pakistan’s female cricket team Sana Mir has shown immense confidence in her team’s progress.
The team is leaving for a series of four Twenty20 internationals and four-one day internationals that starts in Brisbane on 21st August, 2014 between Australia’s Southern Stars and Pakistan.
This series is important as it is the first in the ICC Women’s Championship. It is also a new qualification format for the Women’s 2017 Cricket World Cup. The series has been designed to promote more meaningful and regular matches between the top eight cricket teams.
