The Pakistan cricket team commenced their much-anticipated Sri Lankan tour as they arrived in Colombo on Sunday. They are geared up for a two-match Test series, promising a showdown with their host country.
Following a day of rest, the team, known as the Shaheens, plans to journey to Hambantota. Their agenda includes a two-day warm-up match set to take place on the 11th and 12th of July. This preparation game is crucial for the team to strategize and fine-tune their performance before the official Test series.
Series Details and Previous Encounters
The real challenge for both sides begins on July 16 at the Galle International Cricket Stadium, where they’ll compete in the first Test of the series. After this match, the teams will return to Colombo to square off in the second Test. This match is scheduled at the Singhalese Sports Club from July 24-28.

Pakistan secured the best run chase at the cricket ground, overcoming a target of 342, leading to a victorious first Test by four wickets.
