Pakistan earlier today strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Ankara and reaffirmed its ‘long abiding solidarity’ with Turkey.
Several lives were lost and scores injured when a bomb targeted military vehicles in Ankara Wednesday night.
A Foreign Office statement said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the brotherly people and government of Turkey and pray for the swift recovery of those injured.”
The Foreign Office said Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
“We have no doubt that Turkey would eliminate the scourge of terrorism with its strong will and unshakeable resolve,” the statement said.
