Afghan President Ashraf Ghani telephoned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and expressed grief over the loss of precious human lives in Quetta terrorist attack.

Ashraf Ghani condemned Quetta bombing that left at least 70 people dead and over 100 others wounded. Condemning the incident, Ashraf Ghani said that terrorism is the common enemy of Pakistan and Afghanistan. He vowed to eliminate the menace of terrorism through joint efforts.

The death toll of deadly blast at civil hospital in Quetta has jumped to 72, while dozens of others are still under treatment at hospitals.

The latest casualties include a child and a lawyer who were wounded in the blast succumbed to their wounds today.

The bomber struck as a crowd of mostly lawyers and journalists crammed into the emergency department to accompany the body of a prominent lawyer who had been shot and killed in the city on August 08.
