The top brass of the Pakistan Army decided to eradicate terrorism “without any discrimination” as the country fights a new wave of insurgency, which has resulted in several soldiers’ deaths and countless others’ injuries.
The determination was reaffirmed during the 254th Corps Commanders Conference (CCC), which took place in Rawalpindi. This conference was the first convened by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir, who assumed his role at the top of the military one month ago.
According to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations, a thorough examination of the professional and organizational concerns of the army was carried out during the meeting that took place from December 27-28. (ISPR).
According to the military’s media wing, “it was resolved to battle against terrorists without any difference and eliminate this problem as per the aspirations of the people of Pakistan.”
