Security forces killed five militants on Monday during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan.
According to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Sepoy Nasir Khan, a native of South Waziristan, fought bravely and accepted martyrdom during the heavy exchange of fire.
According to the military’s press office, “the slain terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist acts against security forces and murders of innocent persons.”
The ISPR further noted that the area is being sanitized to eradicate any remaining terrorists.
