A Pakistan Air Force contingent has arrived at King Abdulaziz Air Base to take part in the multinational aerial combat exercise Spears of Victory-2026. The deployment includes F-16 Block 52 aircraft and dedicated air and ground crews.
The Inter-Services Public Relations said the exercise brings together fighter jets and combat support elements from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, France, Italy, Greece, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
According to ISPR, the exercise provides a strong platform to improve interoperability and operational synergy. It focuses on large-force employment, night composite air operations, integrated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, and advanced electronic warfare scenarios.

PAF aims to strengthen cooperation with partner air forces and validate readiness in a technology-driven battlespace. The deployment also highlights expeditionary capability. PAF fighters completed a non-stop flight from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, demonstrating long-range operational reach.

During the drills, PAF pilots will fly advanced F-16 Block-52 jets equipped with modern avionics and beyond-visual-range weapons. They will operate alongside aircrews flying a wide range of sophisticated combat aircraft from participating nations.
ISPR said Pakistan’s participation reflects a firm commitment to regional and international military cooperation. It also underscores PAF’s professional standards and its ability to operate effectively in complex, demanding environments alongside leading contemporary air forces.
