The 96th annual Academy Awards culminated Hollywood’s Awards Season this Sunday in Los Angeles.

The Oscars, which have celebrated film industry excellence since 1929, were hosted by Jimmy Kimmel for the fourth time and broadcast across 200 territories globally.

Recognized as the film industry’s highest honour, the Oscars, organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles, feature over 20 categories, including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Actress.

At the BAFTAs, Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” achieved remarkable success, winning seven awards, while “Poor Things,” featuring Emma Stone, garnered five. Both films also excelled at the Golden Globes; “Oppenheimer” won five awards, including Best Director for Nolan, and “Poor Things” earned two.
