Opposition parties have created a counter strategy for the likely dissolution of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Assembly and have consented upon bringing a no confidence movement against the Chief Minister KPK Pervez Khatak and may also consult the court in this regard.
According to the sources, a requisition has been signed by the opposition parties in order to call the session of the assembly whereas a note for the no confidence movement may also be annexed with it.
Opposition has also reserved the option to consult the court for any such measure.
Sources revealed that the opposition leaders have also been advised to contact Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Awami Jamhoori Ittehad (AJI) in order to halt the dissolution of the assembly.
The final decision regarding the no confidence movement depends upon the indication from the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN), sources added.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had forbidden the Pakistan Muslim League (N) members of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KPK) provincial assembly to bring ‘No confidence Movement’ against the provincial government of the province.
PM Nawaz Sharif said that PTI must get chance to complete its tenure and perform as KPK government. He said that PTI has got the mandate in KPK which must be respected.
