Karachi: A passenger bus went out of driver’s control and ran over pedestrians in a busy market of Karachi, killing a man and injuring ten others.
According to initial reports, the incident took place in Liaqatabad where a fast-moving passenger coach ran over pedestrians, leaving at least 11 critically injured.
Reports said the out of control bus also hit several vehicles in a busy market place.
Rescue teams shifted the injured to Abbasi Shaheed hospital where one of them died.
Following the horrible incident, infuriated mob torched the bus, causing severe traffic jam in the area.
Police said driver of the killer bus managed to flee from the scene.
