Oman Announces E-Visa 2025 for Pakistani Students

Oman is a rising star for international students. Its top universities deliver quality English education paired with rich cultural experiences. Oman relaunched its E-Visa program for 2025 to attract more students and tourists.

Pakistani students eyeing college or short visits can apply online via the Royal Oman Police (ROP) portal at evisa.rop.gov.om. The revamped platform skips consulate visits, letting applicants submit forms, pay, and get approvals digitally. The new unsponsored tourist visa is a bonus—it’s perfect for exploring Oman or attending educational events during breaks.

Eligibility and Updates

The Oman E-Visa now covers over 100 countries, which is part of Muscat’s push to boost visitors and scholars. Work visa rules are tightened for students in fields like construction, but the Omanization policy opens other job prospects. Starting in 2025, expatriates, including students, need employer-provided health insurance. These changes enhance opportunities for Pakistani learners.
