Reports say someone shot rapper Offset in Florida on Monday evening and took him to the hospital, where his representative says he remains stable and is receiving medical care.
The Migos star, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, suffered the injury near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. His representative told TMZ that he is “fine” and is being closely monitored at the hospital.
Police said officers responded to the valet area outside the hotel shortly after 7 pm after receiving reports of a shooting.
According to the official statement, the incident left one person with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities transported that individual to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood for treatment.
Officials have not announced further details about how the shooting happened. However, they confirmed that investigators have already opened a case.

Authorities said two people are now in custody following the incident. They also stressed that the area is secure and that the public faces no ongoing threat.
Police added that hotel and casino operations continue as normal. That reassurance came as news of the shooting spread quickly online.
Offset, 33, rose to fame as a member of Migos alongside Quavo and Takeoff. The Atlanta rap trio helped shape mainstream hip-hop in the 2010s with hits such as “Bad and Boujee” and “Walk It Talk It.”
The group also worked with high-profile artists including Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert and Cardi B. Offset later built his solo profile, with Ric Flair Drip, his collaboration with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin, becoming one of his biggest individual hits.
Migos disbanded after the fatal shooting of Takeoff in Houston in 2022. Since then, Offset has continued to release music as a solo artist. Most recently, he released the surprise 11-track mixtape Haunted by Fame on Halloween 2025, featuring YoungBoy Never Broke Again and NoCap.
