A 3 judge bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued notices to as many as 97 people including the prime minister, leader of the opposition, National Assembly speaker in a case pertaining to resignations of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from the National Assembly.
The notices were issued by the three-judge bench headed by Justice Anwar Zahir Jamali during the hearing of different petitions regarding the PTI and MQM’s resignations.
During the hearing, the top court also ordered the litigants to combine all the petitions.
