The Roxy Cinema in Miramar hosted a Harry Potter movie marathon featuring all eight films complete with snacks and meals in 24 hours from March 25 to 26.
The marathon weekend began at the Roxy Cinema in Miramar at 1.30pm on Saturday, featured all eight films, from the 2001 hit Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone to 2011’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
Fans were sustained through the night with meals, snacks, and the odd chance to take a nap.The fans were allowed to bring food and drinks into the theatres and maybe take a nap during the movies.
Lawson, Brownlee and Starnes dressed as Slytherin students, complete with matching Deathly Hallows charm pendants, and came armed with sleeping bags and pillows. Other fans brought bean bags.
Fans joined in to speak the films’ famous lines in chorus as they came up.
