Nvidia has overtaken Apple and Microsoft to become the world’s most valuable company on the stock market.
The chipmaker’s stock rose by 3.4 per cent around 1725 GMT on Tuesday, boosting its market capitalization to approximately $3.3 trillion.
The achievement positions Nvidia slightly ahead of its tech counterparts, Microsoft and Apple. Nvidia’s remarkable growth over the past 18 months, fueled by significant interest in generative AI, has now led it to become the most valuable publicly traded company, marking a significant milestone in the dominance of artificial intelligence in the tech industry.
