Islamabad: The National Security Committee (NSC) of Cabinet has expressed concern over activities of hostile intelligence agencies to destabilize Pakistan
The meeting of NSC held here with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the chair, also decided to raise the issue of the activities of hostile agencies in Pakistan with world community.
The meeting discussed security situation of the country and expressed satisfaction over counter terrorism efforts of the security institutions.
The meeting was attended by Federal Ministers, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and Services Chiefs, Director General ISI, National Security Advisor and other senior officials.
Earlier, Pakistani security agencies detained Afghan intelligence officer from Chaman, Balochistan.
Frontier Corps (FC) spokesman, the Afghan spy was arrested from Boghra area.
Last month, A RAW agent Kulbushan Yadav was also arrested from Balochistan. He confessed to facilitating separatist movement in the province.
