Prominent Kashmiri leader and one of the founding member of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Amanullah Khan died after a prolonged illness in Rawalpindi today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Amanullah Khan breathed his last early this morning at a hospital after fighting a year long battle against chronic lung disease.
Meanwhile JKLF Vice Chairman Saleem Haroon expressed sympathies and condolences over the loss to the movement’s workers and the bereaved family.
A JKLF spokesman said that the funeral prayers of the deceased would be held at Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.
