Quetta: Former Balochistan Finance Secretary Mushtaq Raisani said that he was not being allowed to meet his family after being arrested by NAB.
Raisani was presented before an accountability court on Thursday. The court granted NAB a 14-day remand for the former Balochistan Finance Secretary to NAB for the third time.
While in court, Mushtaq Raisani claimed that he was not being allowed to meet his family. Raisani’s lawyer stated that his client also had health complications which needed to be addressed.
The court in response ordered authorities to let Raisani meet his relatives and said that Raisani will be provided medical facilities.
Mushtaq Raisani, who was ex Balochistan Finance Secretary, was arrested by NAB last month after Rs 730 million were recovered from his house. NAB arrested him on charges of being involved in corruption in local governments.
