Initial reports suggest that five terrorists were killed after alert troops foiled an infiltration attempt targeting the Boya Military Fort. At approximately 0751 hours, a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the fort, triggering an attempted breach by four additional attackers.
Troops from the Quick Reaction/Security Action Team responded swiftly, neutralising three terrorists outside the perimeter wall, while forces engaged and eliminated the fourth assailant outside the fort.
