Chief Minister Punjab, Pervaiz Elahi, claimed that the opposition will remain a minority in the Punjab parliament because the coalition government of the PTI and the PML-Q has a 191-vote majority.

The prime minister emphasized that the opposition may introduce a resolution of no confidence if they choose.

The Punjab chief minister spoke with a delegation consisting of PBA Chairman Shakeel Masood Hussain, Secretary General Mian Amir Mahmood, Naz Afrin Sehgal, and Chairman Nai Baat Media Network Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, who had visited the chief minister in his office.

Elahi wished the newly elected PBA chairman and other officeholders well. He believed the new organization would utilize its resources to advance the media business.
