Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Sunday directed the police to contact singer-turned-preacher Junaid Jamshed and file a first information report (FIR).
The minister, in a statement, said,”No one will be allowed to take the law in their hands.”
He said that the trend of extremism and intolerance in the society should be discouraged at all levels.
The order came after singer-turned-preacher was assaulted at Islamabad airport by supporters of Mutmaz Qadri. (APP)
