A new development in the investigation into Liam Payne’s death places a CasaSur Palermo Hotel employee at the centre of the inquiry. Prosecutors are exploring the possibility that hotel staff may have supplied Payne with drugs before his fatal fall.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Payne’s death. Evidence has emerged suggesting that a hotel employee might have provided the substances found in Payne’s room, including clonazepam and a powerful hallucinogenic known as “cristal.” These drugs are known for inducing severe psychotic reactions and could have influenced Payne’s state before his fall.
The incident unfolded after hotel staff alerted authorities, describing Payne as highly intoxicated and displaying erratic behaviour. Although hotel management initially hesitated to call the police, the severity of the situation eventually compelled them to do so.

Further investigations revealed that two escorts were present in Payne’s room before the incident; however, they reported that he seemed normal during their interaction and denied using any substances.
Currently, the investigation is focusing on the role of the hotel and its staff in the events leading up to Payne’s death. While no foul play is suspected, as the death was officially ruled an accident resulting from multiple traumas due to a fall, authorities are awaiting the results of a toxicology report to clarify the sequence of events and the involvement of the hotel staff.
