The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has initiated a fourth case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi concerning Toshakhana gifts, adding to the three previous cases filed against them.
Imran Khan’s attorney, Naeem Haider Panjutha, criticized the charges, claiming they are repetitive and baseless. “These are the same gifts, the same facts, yet new cases keep surfacing,” Panjutha stated. He emphasized that despite the frequency of these accusations, they have not gained public trust and are consistently contested in the High Court.
Panjutha accused the NAB of targeting Khan due to his refusal to compromise, asserting that the actions of the NAB Chairman constituted a misuse of power. “Create a thousand cases; we are well aware that the Chairman of NAB is misusing his position,” he remarked.
He concluded with a strong message of resilience, “Do whatever you want, and if you think it doesn’t make a difference, people like you will be remembered negatively in history.
