Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded sternly to Iran’s missile attack, declaring that Iran had committed a significant error that would have consequences.

At the beginning of a political-security meeting, Netanyahu emphasized the severity of the situation and Israel’s readiness to respond.

“Iran made a big mistake tonight—and it will pay for it,” Netanyahu stated, signalling a tough stance on the aggression. He further elaborated on the perceived underestimation by Iran of Israel’s resolve, saying, “The regime in Iran does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and our determination to retaliate against our enemies.”
