Six officers from Pakistan’s cybercrime agency have been presented in court. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) produced officials of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) before a judicial magistrate in Lahore.
They face serious charges of corruption and misuse of authority. The FIA alleges they received a bribe of Rs9 million. The arrested officers were presented before Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo. The FIA requested physical remand of the officials for further investigation.
The FIA’s counsel argued that the remand was necessary. They stated it was needed to complete the investigation and recover the alleged bribe money. The defence lawyer for the NCCIA officers opposed the request. He argued that the arrests were made without following proper legal procedure.

After hearing arguments from both sides, the court reserved its verdict. A decision on the physical remand is expected soon.
The bribery allegations are linked to the case of YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, known as “Ducky Bhai.” He was arrested by the NCCIA in August at Lahore airport. The YouTuber faces charges under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act. He is accused of promoting online gambling and betting platforms through his YouTube channel.
The new allegations suggest an attempt to influence that ongoing inquiry. The case continues to develop as the legal process unfolds.
