The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has installed Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at Khunjerab along the Pakistan China border.
According to Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), Corps Commander Lt. General Zafar Iqbal inaugurated the project. Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz-ur-Rehman was also present on the occasion.
Talking to media, Lt General Zafar Iqbal said that ATM facility is essential to the businessmen due to increasing trade and business activities under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
This is also the highest ATM in the world and would also serve the growing needs of tourists that visit the north most corner of the country.
